Writing using the Medium app for iOS
Writing articles from phone is pretty much a journaling experience. If you are a good proof-reader, this can become a regular activity for you. I am not good at proof-reading. But I can be good with whipping up texts if I get a broad idea for the post that I am about to write.
This time, it is about writing on Medium using the Medium app for iOS.
The typing experience on iPhone is fantastic. I say this, after being an Android user for over 10 years. Sure, the initial-day typos were too much to bear with. After two months though, it’s a fun activity.
Short update on some of the things that I am doing more of, of late:
- I am making insane amount of music! Only this time, most of my produced tracks are up to the mark for social sharing, as my mixing and mastering game has drastically improved. This is mainly because I am beginning to understand the technicalities of music production for the first time ever. So this pushes me to produce music even more. Follow me on Instagram to get a regular feed of my music posts: Instagram.com/ramblersm
- I have started trying out mobile games again. I have realised that the best time for me to play some mobile game is between 4–6pm. So I take out 30–45mins every day during that time to take a break from work, and unwind a little with some gaming. I play CoD mobile (I am a big fan of CoD!), UNO, Stumble Guys and HomeScapes. It’s a diverse set of games. And it works for me well
- I am reading every day between 7.30–9pm. I try to finish 10% of a book every day, and this slot is working just fine for this
- I have started investing more. I have realised that idle funds are not going to add value in the longer run.
- I started a portfolio on crypto investments. I am super curious about it, mainly because my education background allows me to understand the tech of crypto and blockchain better. While the volatility is showing on my portfolio (I’ll write a detailed post on this next month), I am getting better with picking the alt coins that are right for me.
- I started building movie lists again! I and a group of friends have started a whatsapp group where we share recommendations and discuss movies and shows. It takes away the pain of searching what to watch, and helps me prioritise what to watch next. So useful!
Some more life updates are coming up, which I will be able to write about in about 2 months. For now, I am glad that apart from being able to spend more time with my parents, I have a clearer line of thought and purpose every day. Not every aspect of my daily life is smooth or peaceful, but that’s fine (I guess).
So that’s about it, for this post.
Medium for iOS – you are solid.
